| Siemens is a "household name" in China's home appliance market. Bosch Siemens Household Appliances (BSH) manufactures and markets refrigerators and front loader washing machines to customers throughout China. These home appliances are market leaders in China amongst international brands and recognized for their high quality and innovation. A comprehensive after sales services network provides fast and effective services to customers. In September 2004, Bosch Siemens announced plans to invest a further RMB 1 billion to establish a manufacturing base for small home appliances in Nanjing which consists of manufacturing facilities, an R&D center, an international purchasing office and central warehouse.
