For us Corporate Responsibility means that we ensure the success and the future of our company by taking into account economic, social, ethical and environmental aspects, and that we establish clear and transparent standards for our company.

Corporate responsibility is a top priority at Siemens and is firmly embedded in our strategy. It encompasses four main areas:

 

Compliance

We conduct our business responsibly and in compliance with the laws and regulations of all the countries where we do business. The company does not tolerate illegal and unethical behavior. We have established binding company guidelines that require all our managers and employees worldwide to behave ethically and in conformity with the law. more

 

Corporate Governance

We are committed to financial transparency, candid communication with our shareholders, strict adherence to all rules and regulations concerning financial reporting, upholding the Sarbanes-Oxley act as well as the election, constitution and supervision of our board members. more

 

Sustainability

Sustainability includes compliance with environmental policies, implementation of environmentally sound, energy-saving processes and the production of products that are environmentally friendly. more

We view ourselves as a responsible neighbor and good Corporate Citizen. Corporate Citizenship is our commitment to advancing society – over and above our actual business activities. We deploy many different resources to carry out this commitment, with a particular emphasis on the company's specific competencies. We actively engage ourselves in social issues and projects, and we hold employee volunteerism in particularly high esteem. We also actively contribute to the training and development of young people, while at the same time promoting science, technology and education overall. more
